  Food was extremely mediocre, I could have prepared it at a higher quality at home for a fifth of the price. In addition, we found a hair in our ice cream and the waiter just said sorry, took it away, and brought the check 30 seconds later. No explanation, no offer for another dessert, nothing. In this particular situation, based on the way it was handled, I feel that the color of our skin was looked at and we were treated unfairly. Save your money and don't go here just because it's close to the resort.

  They must have corrected the wait staff since some of those older reviews. the waitress was very attentive. We were in Hawaii for our anniversary and wanted to stay close to the hotel for dinner. I thought the food was excellent. I had lasagna and was amazed that it was very flavorful and authentic. My wife had chicken Marsala and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked that although we were in Hawaii, we could have an authentic Italian dinner. The sunset view was also very nice. There was no harp music while we were there.

  The atmosphere is undeniably the best part about this restaurant. A balcony overlooking the ocean. The food, however, is probably the most uninteresting Italian I've ever tried- bland and no presentation. For the price, which is expensive, I would certainly not recommend this place.
