  Authentic Hawaiian noodle house. I was told to go here by someone who used to live here. It seems like a place that the locals like to frequent. The menu is straight forward. Soup with noodles in different sizes and additions (dumplings, fish, etc). Its cash only and is limited in seating so you might have to wait. But if you like noodle dishes (and ham) and want to eat a local favorite, this is your place.

  Hamura Saimin was recommended to me by a local and I'm glad I took her advice. I had the shrimp saimin bowl and was not disappointed - the food was good, service fast and friendly. The casual diner-style counter was neat and made chatting with other diners easy. Would come back again. :)

  As we drove up to the off the strip diner there were two boys practising how to crack a whip. Literally, they were cracking Indiana Jones style bullwhips, and it was awesome. The food at the diner? Just as awesome.
  The diner is a bare-bones, counter-style diner. The menu was short and efficient. The waitress, grizzled and friendly, sauntering from patron to patron fulfilling their requests and refilling water. The ladies have put on this song and dance for god knows how long, and it shows.
  The soup itself was great. The broth was salty and full of body, the noodles tender yet though. The chiffon pie was the best I've ever had.
  Honestly, I'm not a major soup guy, and I still found the overall experience great. I wouldn't want to piss off that server lady, she looks like she knows how to handle herself.
